
Christy Fargnoli
Christy is an experienced trial lawyer representing plaintiffs in life-altering injury and death cases across South Carolina. She has successfully litigated a wide range of cases, including those involving trucking accidents, dram shop (liquor liability / drunk driver), police negligence, civil rights violations, boating accidents, premises liability, brain injuries, sexual abuse, nursing home abuse, and medical negligence. Christy has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest ranking as an AV Lawyer and, in 2021, was selected as “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers publication.
Christy enjoys seeing her hard work pay off with favorable results, having secured millions of dollars in settlements for her clients. She is a passionate advocate and works directly with her clients to help provide guidance during what is often one of the most the most difficult times of their lives. Christy takes this responsibility seriously and works tirelessly for her clients.
Christy is regularly a speaker at legal conferences and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Colleton County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association of Justice. She has also co-authored articles on various legal issues, including “Litigating Recreational Boating Accident Cases” and “Litigating High-Speed Vehicle Pursuit Cases.” Christy’s experience in campus sexual assault and Title IX cases was profiled by Super Lawyers' publication in an article titled “Master of Nine.”
Born and raised in Walterboro, South Carolina, Christy has lived in the Lowcountry area most of her life. She attended Newberry College on a basketball scholarship, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Christy then attended the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and received CALI awards for academic excellence in trial advocacy and constitutional law. While in law school, Christy sat on the Executive Board of the Charleston Law Review, serving as both an articles editor and symposium editor. Christy was also a member of numerous organizations while in law school, including the Student Trial Lawyers Association.
When not working, Christy can be found at the beach, rooting for the Clemson Tigers, enjoying live music, or spending time with her dogs Bodie and Otis in search of the perfect dog park.
